Andrea Corr
Andrea Jane Corr (MBE) is an Irish musician, singer also a musician, actor and singer. Corr began her career in 1990, singing singer-songwriter for The Corrs, a Celtic rock and pop-rock group The Corrs with Caroline Sharon Jim and three of their older siblings. Andrea Corr is an Irish singer musician songwriter and actor. She is known best as the lead singer of the Celtic-folk and pop rock group The Corrs. The lead singer and multi-instrumentalist of The Corrs, she also serves as the group's leader. Andrea began her acting career in 1991. Later, she became an experienced actor and musician on stage. Andrea was voiced by the character in The Quest for Camelot, an animated Warner Bros. cartoon film that was released in 1998. Andrea's artistic career is multifaceted. Her charitable efforts have also received recognition. Andrea as well as her partner, a stockbroker, have two children. Andrea started music lessons at the age of eight, learning the Tin flute. Gerry introduced her to playing piano. Andrea also plays the ukulele. The teenage years were spent working on her technique. She started by singing with her brothers and sisters before becoming the lead singer in the band. Andrea was a student in Dun Lughaidh Convent and participated in numerous school plays.
